At Walkabout, we take great care to ensure that all our products and business processes are as sustainable as possible.

Our jewellery is made from recycled and very high quality materials. Our factory in Bali uses recycled 925 sterling silver of the highest quality. The gold chains are finished with 18 carat gold and given a thick micron coating to make your Piece of Australia even sturdier and therefore more durable.

Good to know: All products that have been made from sterling silver are stamped 925, which indicates the fineness (92.5% pure silver) of the metal.

The products made of pearls are also finely handcrafted. Our pearls, which come from Lombok in Indonesia, are freshwater pearls. Lovingly handpicked, they are characterised not only by their high quality, but also by longevity & sustainability.
